Memories of Chrissy
Dear Chrissy (Pissy-Chrissy) as daddy would call you,

I adopted you from 911 Rescue when I worked at Morristown Animal Hospital. You were there for a while and was not the friendliest cat, but you were so very pretty. I decided to take you and give you a wonderful home.

You weren't crazy about your brothers and sisters. You would wack them when they would walk by you. It took a while for them to get use to you then your tude didn't phase them anymore. You always hung out in your bed in the cat tree by the window. That was your spot and no other cat would go into the bed next to you. You had the whole thing to yourself. You use to come in the kitchen for breakfast and 'din-din' time sitting there waiting. You would also come in the kitchen at bedtime for your treats. Daddy would pick you up and you would start to purr. You didn't do that this morning though. You also hadn't eaten in 2 days or wanted your treats. We did tests on you a couple of months ago and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with you. They assumed it was cancer and that is probably what it was. I am so very sorry! Daddy and I went to the doctor this morning and came home to find you were gone. We then buried you next to your brothers and sisters.

Rest easy, sweet girl. I hope you will be happy in your new home. Please don't wack your brothers and sisters. Try to get along with them. You did know Ernie and Scooter, and I hope they greeted you and will show you the ropes.

Look down on us every now and then. We love you!

Love,

Mommy, Daddy, and All Your Furry Brothers and Sisters

6/25/20 - Chrissy girl, One (1) year yesterday we lost you. I hope you are behaving in your new home and not wacking anybody. I hope you greeted Toby, Harry, and Myron at the bridge with all you other brothers and sisters. Poor Noel has some issues. She is at mommy's work right now. I hope you had a happy life with us even though it was cut short. You are a beautiful girl. Behave and we will see you again some day! We love you!

Love,

Mommy, Daddy, and All Your Furry Brothers / Sisters

6/26/21 - Dear Pissy Chrissy, Two (2) years ago yesterday you went to the bridge. We hope you are happy there and enjoying your beautiful home and behaving. We hope you greeted Patch, Noel, Sierra, and Hailey at the bridge and are being nice to them. You are such a beautiful girl but you could be such a brat sometimes. We still love you anyway. We only had you a short time but hope you were happy here. We miss every single one of you and love you all so much. Each of you has taken a piece of our heart. I wish one of you would give us some kind of sign that you're all okay. Run free, sweet girl.

Love,

Mommy, Daddy, and All Your Furry Brothers / Sisters

7/3/22 - Oh Crissy girl, Three (3) years has passed already. So sorry his is late, but we just lost Baxter last week, and it is very hard to come on here. I gave him the same song as yours. I hope you greeted him and Bogey at the bridge and didn't wack at them. I hope you're all together and happy in your beautiful new home. The house is as crazy as ever now with Sophie. Mommy and daddy miss every single one of you. You all each had something special about you. Please teach Bogey and Baxter the ropes. Enjoy!

Love,

Mommy, Daddy and All Your Furry Brothers / Sisters

10/3/25 - Hi Chrissy girl, Six (6) years it was on 6/24 we lost you. Sorry I hadn't done this in over 3 years. I had to have your Residency pulled from the archive files. I'm so sorry about that. So much has happened in the last few years. So many of your brothers and sisters at the Bridge as well as daddy. I hope you greeted them all. This past year was Stanley 1/13/25, ZZ 3/16/25, and Giggy 10/17/25. I pray you're all together healthy, young, and getting along. I hope you all love your new beautiful home. I can't wait to meet Jesus and be reunited with ALL of you and of course daddy and family members. The house just is not the same anymore. Five (5) dogs and one (1) cat just doesn't feel right. Holly cat is now 18-1/2. You were the most beautiful girl and had such lovely fur. Mommy gets depressed a lot, especially now it gets darker earlier and it's cold. I've done a lot of renovations with the house and doing more now. I've had some health issues too, but God's got me! Anyway, I just can't believe it's been over three (3) years I've been here. Enjoy, behave, and mommy loves and misses every single one of you. You have each taken a piece of my heart, and I don't have much left. I'll see you all soon.

Love,

Mommy, Holly, Fred, Boomer, Mya, Sophie, and Louie
