Memories of Lucy Halcomb
Lucy came into our lives right before Christmas in 2011. She was a tiny thing but Matthew knew she was "the one" as soon as he and Tony saw her playing in the window at Impeccable Paws. As soon as we saw her we all knew she was "Lucy". From the moment she entered our home she was family, always bringing love and joy to everyone that crossed her path. She was our snuggle buddy when we were sick, our welcome party anytime we would come home as well as background noise on our answering machine. She was a wonderful companion and our best friend. No matter how bad your day was Lucy could always make it better. She deserved so much more, she left us way too soon. I never knew you could love a dog the way we loved her, she made our life complete.

She loved her toys, blankets and most of all her humans. We couldn't have asked for a better dog, we loved her so much and it broke our heart to say goodbye. We did what was best for her but it still hurts so much. We love you Lucy and one day we will be together again. Thanks for being ours and I hope you know how very much we loved you and always will. A piece of our heart went with you tonight. You will be missed baby girl, you have a beautiful soul. Love and miss you always, Anita, Tony and Matt
