It has been 2 1/2 years now and I still have Lucy moments. Today was a town on the news that reminded me of our last long trip with Lucy. She was not feeling well. I am happy Lucy using a better place now and look forward to seeing her again one day.

To Lucy, I know you are all settled there at the bridge now. Enjoying all the wonderful meadows, year round warm sunshine and running streams that leave a rainbow from the mist. As sweet as you are I bet you have a bunch of fur friends too. Your family has set up a beautiful memorial in your honor. From the pictures they posted I sure can tell you had a wonderful life and very much loved and cared for. I have lost my own baby 3 months ago and don't smile much these days but the picture of you "sleeping beauty" made me smile. Thank you Lucy for that. I hope you are sending your family signs from time to time just to let them know you are watching over them. You will always be loved, missed and never forgotten little one.

Hello, pretty Lucy Halcomb, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so your family feels your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over your family always, beloved sweet baby girl Lucy. Pressy's Grandpa

Anita/Tony/Matthew..Lucy is a beautiful girl with a great smile..a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us.She is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

I just had to write a note to tell you how much I share in the sadness of your loss of Lucy. I have a Lucy also and she has the same markings and colorations as yours. I rescued my Lucy in 2006 and she also has been my faithful companion. It is hard to know what to say to you, but wanted you to know I feel your sadness and I hope your sweet memories of her will help your hearts to heal. Blessings.

Anita,Tony,Matthew, You have suffered a terrible loss and my heart goes out to you at this time of family grief. Having to say goodbye to such a precious, beautiful little girl - whom I have met through her photos - must be very painful for you. Those 6 years you had together - before illness took her - are full of precious memories of all the wonderful times you had together. Only we to whom our beloved pets are family can begin to empathise with your sorrow: especially when it involves having to make the decision all parents dread: to say goodbye. Our pets are our beautiful fur-children who touch our hearts and lives as no human can - and love us beyond human love - unconditionally. Animals - with all Creation - are a gift from God to us - meeting particular needs that only they can provide. May you find comfort in your loss knowing this life is not the end - and that God`s Plan is for you to be re-united in Heaven one day - when He calls you Home to be with Lucy - across the Bridge.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lucy. Please find comfort in knowing that Lucy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Lucy and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I am so sorry for the loss of your baby - Prayers for you and your family Our babies are always with us whether here on Earth or up in Heaven, always watching over us. Their uncondtional love for us does not stop just because their body does. No more pain or suffering for them - and their love for us is as strong as ever, just as our love for them is. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin

I am so sorry for your loss of Lucy. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Lucy that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Lucy and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Lucy continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Anita, Tony and Matthew- For reasons that are not understood, Lucy's life was brief, yet it was her lifetime to bring you all the joy, love and companionship you had relished throughout the years. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious Lucy, who (obviously) enriched your lives judging by the pictures. Keep those moments close at hand to help heal your heart(s) in your time of need. I've placed a pull rope at her resting place, Rainbow Bridge, to keep your connection--never let go!
