He flies across the Rainbow Bridge
my beloved "Honey Boy"
He was only here for two short years
But Oh! he was such a joy.
I know I'll miss him always
now that we've been parted,
And I'm sure the pain will ease someday
But for now I'm brokenhearted.
I picture him now on the other side
his beautiful green feathers in flight
He'll be the center of attention
he is such a glorious sight.
Someday when life is over
and the world will cease to be,
It's then I'll be with you "Honey Boy"
for all eternity.
