As I lie here in bed with the cold rain pouring down outside, I stroke Daisy, scratch her ears and listen to her gentle purr. I think about Rainbow Bridge and how it will be to be reunited with all the loving, purring furbabies who have arrived there. I can hardly wait for that moment when it will be my turn. I wonder about those who have disappeared and I pray they have made it safely to the bridge. Not running scared, cold, sick or hungry anymore. Just to see those characters again!! Waiting is so hard, but I will do so. I look out the window, the sky is somewhat clear, there's a star!! That's probably Shorty, he always was a ham and wanted all the attention first.
