They come to us small and unknowing, just little balls of fluff
They look to us for guidance and we teach them lots of stuff
The love is unconditional no matter what you do

The tail is wagging the toys are out mom's home its time to play

That little frisky pup is now slow and your house is trashed

One minute I was fine then the next on the floor I was crapin
I will go and hide now cause I really feel bad
I wish I was a better dog I feel really sad

Wow mom you're the greatest here I will lick your face
That was salty was that a tear I licked that left that salty trace
I will go lay down now mom cause I think I am really sick
You took me to the vet last week and it just didn't do the trick
But I know you will know just what to do for me
You always know what is right and how it should be
I hear you in the kitchen fixing me something to eat
I love the smell of your cooking but right now I just wanna sleep
Whats that if I don't want dinner how about a treat
No thanks I don't feel good, Its ok mom please don't weep
