Seven Years I was your devoted friend
Right up to the very end

My energy couldn't be bottled, fenced or even caged
Just like my love just couldn't be close to tamed

I've watched my furry friends come and even watched them go
Now was my time, to go down that dreaded road

As hard and as painful as it all may seem
This is how it is all truly meant to be

I'm gone now to be with my friends in my new home
Where Java, Nemo and I will be free to always roam

But this new home will never ever compare
With the home that I left behind me over there

Always happy, free from pain
Good food to eat, and a big open yard to play

But this was not what made my happy or what made my home
It's not measured by food, treats , toys, Not even by lil' bones

My home was in your heart, where I will always be loved
And I know that will never change, even as I run and play up above

I know you all will miss me and want to see me once more
Running, Playing or even to fuss at me for pottying on the floor

You'll never know that I looked back at home, just one more time
Before it was time to say my lil' doggy goodbyes

But I always will love you all and here Ill run forever
