Jackson was a puppy when I met him. I was 2 when he was born. I would go in his kennel with him and sleep. He took obedience class and got top out of his whole class. He learned to save someone if they were splashing in the pool. One time he saved this little girl. She was splashing in the pool and he thought that she was drowning and so he jumped in, grabed her by her swim suit and pulled her out. Eventually, I learned to not splash in his pool. Everytime I went to my aunts house (his owner), he came to greet me. He knew who I was. Jackson was a smart dog. He knew that when you got your swim suit on, he was going swimming. He knew what a walk was even when we called it a 'W'. He even taught my aunts other dog, Montana, to swim. HE would do anything to help me. I love him so much, but on May 7, 2004, he passed away. My aunt and uncle took it very hard. He was like their child. He was the closest thing to a child they will ever have. It will never be the same to go to their house anymore. They have a picture of him in a frame with a verse under it that says, "Greive not, nor speak of me with tears, but talk of me as if I was there with you, 'twas heaven here with you."
The last time i went to my aunts house, we stood looking at that picture crying. Although, he is gone physically, he is not gone mentially.
