The stray black lab mix came to our house 11 years ago. We put an ad in the paper and found his owner, said his name was Sidney and that he lived 18 miles away. Two weeks later he walked that 18 miles once again, bone thin with frost on his back, this time we kept him. Sidney was a very special dog, a dog who never had a bad day. Sidney was always happy and a great protector of my wife who was always his favorite. Sidney was diagnosed with bone cancer and we had to say goodbye on June 26th 2001. We will see you at Rainbow's Bridge Sidney. We miss you so......
