Ikenstein
by cynthia Luce
You came to us messy and small, helpless and lonesome you loved us all.
As a kitten you grew and kept us on our toes, nibbling your brother and eating our clothes. You kept warm and toasty right beside us at night, when you snuggled us everything was right. We loved you with every ounce of our hearts never realizing time would come for us to part. A crazy driver took you away, now your brother meow by the door every single day. Somethings missing with you not here, the love we shared will last us for year. When we get to heaven I know you’ll be there, sitting at gods feet rubbing your face everywhere (his is what you did)
We love you “ikenstein” there will never ever be a cat like you just know this Ike we love you.
