Mai tuk came home to me in August of 1991, a bundle of fur and so full of life. My smoochie had been injured by a nasty old woman and I thought he was going to die and I needed to give that love and be able to hold someone, so along came Mai tuk. He was 12 weeks old and just so caring, he layed next to my smoochie while he was paralized and chewed softly on his ear. At that moment I knew I had the most wonderful boy in the world. Smoochie made it after about 3 weeks where he was able to sit but not walk yet. Mai Tuk would run beside me as I helped smoochie try to walk with a harness around his hind parts. After weeks of therapy Smoochie walked with only a limp and was able to play with tuk tuk. The 2 of them bonded and became the best of friends. They slept together and you couldn't tell where one started and the other ended. They were so much alike, they were brothers. Mai tuk entered the agility circuit and loved every minute of it while smoochie smiled at him from the sidelines. He was such an exceptional boy, always a smile and a kiss was for me each and every day. When smoochie passed in 2003 Mai tuk became my rock again, we layed on the floor together and cried for weeks even months. Mai tuk would search for him and I would try to console him. He became my greatest gift that God ever gave me, he is my heart and alwyas will be. Mai tuk passed away 12/12/05 and My heart aches every day for him, I love him so much and miss him so badly. Noone will ever take the place he has in my heart. We had 15 wonderful years together and when it is my turn I hope he meets me and shows me the way. I LOVE YOU MOMMY'S TUK.
