MEMORIES •Always with me, walk memories of laughter and sharing• •Thru Life's ups and downs, you honored me with devoted caring• •You suffered vet appointments, my singing, and being shampooed;• •Accepting me for who I am, no matter my faults, despite my mood• •You helped me raise my children, even welcomed their sticky pats• •Let them tug on your ears, pull your tail, and dress you in silly hats• •If I was gone five minutes, or five hours, you welcomed me back with glee• •Never shy or hesitant, you proclaimed your love, for all the World to see• •Unconditional love, unwavering trust; you never offered less And only begged, in return, for a dish of food, a kind word, a loving caress• •Often, I turn, and think I see you from the corner of my eye Though long ago, I held you in my arms and tearfully whispered "Good-bye"• •And with a bit of awe, I realize you are still here, the true and constant friend• •For the gifts you gave to me; the love, the trust, the memories, they will never end• ~Lacy Cotton~29 Jan 1999~ •In Memory Of Buttons, Trooper, Sparky, Obleo 1, Obleo 2, Bingo, Jake, Jenny, Charlie ... and Boots and Prissy, my family's very first Boston Terriers, over 35 years ago. For all the "babies" who have blessed us with their love, their light, and their laughter, making ours so much brighter. In Memory of Flint .. February 1, 1995 - April 3, 1999 •In Memory of Punkin .. December 3, 1985 - March 12, 2001 Our beautiful Punkin ... The neighborhood squirrels and cats, safer, they now may be.. But if God would let me peek, I know what I would see.. Angel squirrels and angel kitties, preparing to flee.. And a winged little Punkin, grinning back at me.•
