rambo-the man
by debbie cortes
my handsome little son rambo-what can i say, he had all the charm and charisma of a movie star. he was buddies with the guys and a lovable charmer with the ladies. he was the hit of every party and much loved by all, even those who claimed they didn't care much for cats wanted to take him home. he actually picked out my husband. every boyfriend i ever had he totally disapproved of, until he met eric. he jumped up on the kitchen table and put his front paws up on his chest to get to his level, and looked at me like he was saying "mommy! pick him!" well, needless to say they also became the best of friends, and history was made over the years. he was our best friend, our dinnner and sleeping companion, and truly our furry little man. we just loved that little guy to pieces. unfortunately, we had to say goodbye november 13.2003. i never knew since my mom i could feel such emotion and grief for a beautiful creature such as he. i want to thank my mom for leaving us such a beautiful treasure of pure joy for so many years. i know right now she is up in heaven looking after him just like i told him when he passed away in my arms- "rambo, until i see you agsin, my mommy is going to take care of you. she is waiting for you in heaven and she can't wait to see you and hold you. until the 3 of us are reunited, i can't think of anyone better to take care of you. mommy and daddy love you so much, just let go baby, no more pain, no more suffering,we wiil always be with you no matter what and someday we will be reunited." i can't wait to see my beautiful tuxedo boy again, but until then, i know he's in the best place he can be. thank you and god blees you all- i'm so thankful for the love and support from others who have gone through the same.
