Bubba he sure did fill our home
But I made a mistake I let him roam
He was a young little boy at barely the age of one
I enabled him to go and have fun
But one day a parent's worst nightmare came true
In my house was a hurt baby, what was I to do
Such a brave little soul
Still walking and about
I looked at my baby, and began to pout
My heart sunk to the bottom of my chest
He was my baby, he was the best
His pain was unbearable as was mine
But the suffering would go on for a long long time
The doctor said it would take a month of suffering
And that was too much
My baby was tough
But in pain I could not allow
I know he is up in kitty heaven now
Such a brave little boy
I love him with all my heart
He was a tough little kitty
And I am sad to see him part
We love you Bubba, and we will miss you dearly until the day when we can see you again in Heaven, because i know that is where you are
