You were our babygirl, spoiled rotten,
Whatever we could do for you, you had gotten.
Since we were young, you were there to hold,
Our hearts were warm, and never cold.
You kept us company whenever you could,
You stayed loyal and loving, like best friend should.
I never wanted this day to come,
But here it is, causing broken heart for some.
I keep telling myself youre in a better place,
But no matter what, I still see your face.
You were such a lady, kind and sweet,
Always gentle, yet loved her treat.
Whenever we were down and out,
You reminded us what life was about.
You let me hold you, and tell you my fears,
You remained with me for several years.
When you were lost, we thought it was the end,
But God didnt give up, our hearts could mend.
You came home, and we made sure it was for good,
Not letting you wander throughout the neighborhood.
I only wish I was with you when you had went,
But God let me know you were Heaven sent.
Like an angel, you descended on us,
Never to fight and never to fuss.
I dont know what Ill do without you here,
Without you to hold, and keep you near.
You were my best friend, I am proud to say,
Ill keep you in my heart, through every passing day.
