I "adopted" Coco from the Humane Society in Denver in July of 1989. She was only about 1 year old when she came into my life. She was and always will be one of the most prescious "babies" that came into my life. I lost her little buddy, Molly (a yorkie) in Dec 2000. I always tthought I'd lose Coco first. For half of her life, she was diabetic, she had an ulcerated eye, and after developing diabetes, she went blind. But like a human child, she hung in there, I think she didn't want to miss out anything. Not to long after I lost my yorkie, Coco went deaf. Coco slowly started hurting more, probably due to the diabetes. Last Thursday, 6/20, she had fallen off the deck and was crying. My neighbor, than GOD, went over and helped back into the house. I called the vet because I couldn't see her like this anymore. I sent my little girl to the Rainbow Bridge "field" on Friday, June 21. I know that she's not hurting anymore and she is reunited with her best buddy, Molly. And I know that Molly is happy that her friend is there with her.
