Max was abandoned at the age of 6. In October of 1988 we brought him into our famly and introduced him to our 2 resident cats. Max was a gentle giant of a cat, weighing in at 22 lbs. As time wore on he made his way into our hearts. Illness started to plaque Max until it became so bad our vet said it was time for Max to leave this earth. He gave us l3 years of joy and pleasure until his death at the ripe old age of 19 on 7/23/0l. We miss him dearly. There will never be another "Max". When I look up at the sky at night and see the stars I see a new one that is shining brightly and I know that Max is looking down on us. Goodby Max - one day we will all be together.
