A Letter From Heaven
by Trish
At 3:30 that morning, I flew to heaven
But didn't get there until about seven
I see you cry but want it to be known
That Mommy, you are never ever alone
I do hear every night that you pray
And I want you to know that I am okay
I may have entered the gate a bit late
But Biscuit on the other side did wait
We became best friends when we both did meet
She may be a dog but she understands my tweet
Mommy, I cherish all moments we've had together
I'll see you again, this time, it'll be forever
I know that you miss me and you do hurt
And feeling that my life was cut short
When I tell you this, I mean each word
Mommy, you made me one very happy bird
