Our wonderful tuxedo cat Mr. Mellow, truly lived up to his name. Mel had this uncanny knack for entertaining all cats in our neighborhood. Whenever Mel was in the backyard, frequent visitors would comt to play, get a drink of water, or eat some food always available for them. Mel would sense danger when the coyotes began to howl, and run in the house. Mel had diabetes for five years and on daily insulin injections, but that didnt stop his zest for life.
Mel would be my sparring partner, and he would "box" with me, and his paws..he sure could deliver a stabbing right hook. We miss our "clown" so much...I am looking forward to the candlelight ceremony or closure. We will pick up Mels ashes soon, so that once again, he will be home. God bless and keep you little one. Our grief is consoled by knowing that you are not suffering anymore.
