A UNIQUE LETTER AND STORY OF TABITHA
by Teresa
BELOW IS A LETTER TO TABITHA WITH LOVE ❤️ FROM ALBERT (AKA DADDY) AND TERESA (AKA MOMMY) AND HER (TABITHA'S KIDS/AKA CATS)

Dear Tabitha,

We have tears of sadnesses, but also tears of joy because we know you are in HEAVEN now and you are in a state of peace and you are at rest and no longer suffering here on earth.

You have brought Albert and I and Rocky and your other kids (cats) so much joy and happiness and laughter. You showed us unconditional love ❤️😻 ❤️ 😽 🐱, respect, honor and there is no doubt in our minds you were nothing but family to all of us.

We are not the only ones that mourned over your (Tabitha) passing and will miss you (Tabitha) dearly.

Rocky 🐈 (the boy cat, whom you spent almost eleven years with) and other cats mourned over your passing and will miss you dearly, also.

I thank The Lord for giving us the BLESSING OF YOU (Tabitha) for sixteen years plus, which fourteen of those years you spent with Albert while he was on active duty (Army).

YOU (TABITHA) WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN OUR (Albert,Teresa and the your other cats 😺 🐱😻 😽😻 🐱🐈) HEARTS 💕 AND SOULS 😘 AND NEVER FORGOTTEN 😘 😽 😻 😘 🤗 😊 😘 😻 😽

We will now reminisce of all the good times and joy and happiness you (Tabitha) brought to all of us (Albert, me and your other cats) for sixteen years plus here on earth.

TABITHA, YOU WERE A MOMMY TO THE OTHER CATS, A COMPANION TO US ALL AND A DAUGHTER TO ALBERT AND I AND YOU WERE A PART OF OUR FAMILY FOR MANY, MANY YEARS.

AND I WE ALL WILL TRULY MISS YOU 😘 😻 🤗 😽 😻 😘 🤗 BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

WITH LOVE AND ALL OF OUR HEARTS 💕 AND SOULS 😇 ,

Albert (daddy) Teresa (mommy) and your kids (aka cats) Rocky, Sierra, Shilo, Gizmo and Sammie.

BELOW IS STORY OF TABITHA'S LIFE:

FIRST I WANTED TO START OFF WITH WAS THAT TABITHA TRULY LOVED BOTH ALBERT AND I AND ALL THE OTHER CATS EQUALLY WITH ALL OF HER HEART AND SOUL.

SHE SHOWED NOTHING BUT UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO US ALL.

WE ALL THOUGHT OF HER NOTHING LESS THAN FAMILY.

AND...MOST IMPORTANT WE DO THAT GOD FOR THE GIFT OF TABITHA AND IT WAS OUR PLEASURE OF HAVING TABITHA IN OUR LIVES FOR MANY, MANY YEARS (WHICH INCLUDE FOR ALBERT N I AND THE CATS ANYWHERE FROM 5-16 YEARS)

SHE WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER BE FORGOTTEN AND WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN OUR HEARTS AND SOULS ETERNALLY.

I will never forget the day Albert's brother gave Tabitha to us in 2001. At the time Albert's brother was in the Navy stationed at Norfolk, Va., which was where Tabitha was born and then started her new life with Albert and I and (which she was only a few months old at the time) in Fayetteville, N.C., (2001), which is by Ft.Bragg, N.C., which was Albert's duty station at that time, which is also where Tabitha's Mommy and Daddy met (Teresa and Albert).

Tabitha spent time with us at Ft.Bragg, she then went with us to Heidelberg, Germany (an Army Base Albert was assigned to), then to Ft.Bliss, Texas (by El Paso, Tx), then back to Ft.Bragg, N.C. which was his (Albert's) last duty station (he was medically retired from the Army in 2013).

Tabitha (she was our oldest cat/16 years and four months old) was raised many different places.

My husband (Albert) would refer Tabitha as our International Cat to our friends (military and civilians) and our families because whatever duty station we were at she came with us.

Tabitha definitely entertained all of us for many, many years.

I call recall when Tabitha would fetch her toys and bring them back to Albert or me (like a dog would play fetch with their owner) or balled up foil or wax paper and wait for us to throw them back out for her to fetch them or she would sometimes drop it into Albert's army boots or his PT (running shoes for the Army) shoes.

We can recall all the times how Tabitha would climb all over the cat tree and do all kinds of flips on them like she was doing some kind of acrobatics.

Albert referred her also as a spider cat because the way she would climb almost everything from the cat tree or even try to climb the walls, lol 😂.

I reminisce of all the times Tabitha would put her paws on Albert or me and just lay there with him or me, wether either one of us was watching tv or sleeping.

She was a very intelligent cat, which I think she could sense when Albert (aka daddy) would leave on a military mission or when he would return from a military mission.

She would always know when daddy and/or mommy (Albert n Teresa) was home just by the sound of our car.

I call recall many times when Tabitha could sense when Albert (aka daddy) would be home and would wait patiently for Albert (aka daddy) to come home wether he would be coming home from a regular duty day or from a field exercise or from a military jump (which anyone that is Airborne or have been Airborne at one time knows that military jumps could range anywhere from 10 hours to two days) or from a deployment.

Tabitha would either be laying patiently in Albert's recliner or waiting on Albert's side of the bed with her head on his pillow, then when she heard Albert's (her daddy's) voice she would come and greet him.

THEY SAY ANIMALS CAN SENSE THINGS BEFORE HUMANS, WHICH I DO CONCUR.

Although I spoke of Tabitha and Albert a lot above, she spent most of her time with me (aka mommy) because Albert was either in the field or on a mission or on a deployment and Albert would refer Tabitha as "mommy's (me) girl", she loved Albert (aka daddy) just as much as she loved me (aka mommy).

And...although Tabitha was closest to Rocky (spent almost eleven years with him), she showed great love to all of her kids (aka cats). She would nurture them (all the cats) with all of her being and any time and any day or night. And, when any of the other cats would get into a fight, Tabitha (aka mommy to the other cats) would intervene and come running from wherever she was and break up the fight, like any mother would with their children.

Tabitha would be there for all her kids (aka cats), wether they needed to be cleaned or just a companion, she would cuddle with them, she would even occasionally talk (meow) to them and she always would guide them throughout the day and/or night.

There are no words or shall I say there are many words of how Tabitha showed Albert and I and all the other cats nothing but...unconditional love and she showed it without judgment and/or faultfinding. And, Tabitha showed this from the day we got her and up to the day she left this earth and was laid down to rest.

TABITHA SHOWED ALBERT AND I AND THE OTHER CATS THE SAME VALUES THE ARMY TEACHES, SUCH AS LOYALTY, RESPECT, HONOR,ETC.

WHO KNOWS WHY TABITHA WOULD SHOW US ALL VALUES THE ARMY TEACHES?

BUT MY GUESS IT IS BECAUSE SHE GREW UP IN A MILITARY FAMILY AND SHE SAW HOW ALBERT AND I WOULD SHOW THE VALUES TO EACH OTHER, WHICH WE ALSO SHOWED THEM TO HER (TABITHA) AND ALL THE OTHER CATS.

I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER MOMMY (TABITHA) TO THE OTHER CATS AND A COMPANION TO US ALL AND DAUGHTER (TABITHA) TO ALBERT AND I.

SHE (TABITHA) WILL TRULY BE MISSED, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

I END WITH THIS BELOW...

Although Tabitha was raised mostly in Fay./Ft.Bragg, N.C. area (where Teresa was raised) she laid to rest in Chicagoland (where Albert was raised)....

TABITHA CONSIDERED HOME WAS WHERE WE WERE...OR SHALL I SAY WHERE THE ARMY SENT US 😁 😻 😍 😊

I BELIEVE TABITHA TAUGHT US MANY THINGS WHILE SHE WAS HERE IN EARTH AND VICE-VERSA.

I truly believe Tabitha taught values to her kids (aka the other cats) and showed how to love unconditionally and show respect and loyalty and how to have a caring and loving heart and it will be with us all (the other cats and Albert and I) until we reunite with her (Tabitha) in heaven.
