From the first time I even saw you. You were my best friend and I had you even named before I met you "Velvet". We just clicked and were never apart. You were always there with me in good times and sad. Always made me happy when I was sad. You never asked for much just that I love you. Which I did even though I grew up and moved onto other things in my life. One thing remained the same you were always at my side and being my little shadow.
You always love to help me with my homework. Even though you always lay on top of the book. Which made it hard to study, but I just smiled and pet you and loved you anyways. Always gave me comfort knowing you were there when I fell asleep and there when I a woke. You brought so many joys to my life and hope I did the same for you.
You were like my very first child and I thought I never have to let you go. But today I must let you be free and so you may still be my little shadow even thought I might not see you.
No one will ever replace you in my heart and I love you till I meet you again.
