Jenny was a pony I never got to meet but became headline news in our town. As I sat watching the news one night abouth a month ago they had the story about Jenny on. Jenny was a small pony and I think she was beautiful before she was tied to the back of a truck and drug down the road at about 50 miles a hour. Someone saw this happening and got behind the truck to try to get it to stop. The truck did stop at a gas station. The driver got and stumbled into the store to get a beer. The police were called and the guy said he did not know she was there. Somehow Jenny was still alive. Her legs were just bones the skin was gone. Her side was also gone. There was a large open hole near her ribs. Jenny tried to live and in the last few days of her life she found love. In the end that love helped her cross the bridge. I am not sure what happened to the guy that hurt her. I hope he will never be able to own another animal again. As for Jenny she now runs free. Safe and loved by all her new found friends at the bridge.
