Never Forgotten, Always in my heart
by Jackie Stewart
Clancey went to stay with my Grandmother when my parents took me on a trip to Disneyland. We were gone only a few days. He ate something he shouldn't have. When we found out it was too late, they tried to save him. I know they did their best. I still feel so guilty for leaving him alone. He was my buddy. He protected me from my older brother when he wanted to tease me. All I had to say was get him, and he would chase him. Clancey loved mandrin oranges, he would slowly peel them and then eat them. There was nothing better then to wake up in the morning and see his warn loving brown eyes and nothing worse then waking and knowing he would not be there any more, I just want you to know that I still miss you and that I have not forgotten you. How could I forget my friend of my childhood who only wanted to give love. In your short 7 years you showed me more love and friendship them some ever see in a lifetime. You and Muffin are now waiting at the rainbow bridge and till we cross together, please take care of each other. Always and forever your friend Jackie
