Up on the top floor of her kitty condo
she silently surveys the others below
sneaking around,
quietly waiting
to jump up behind her
and attack!

They don't know that she can see them
She lowers her head
and closes her eyes just enough
for them to think she's sleeping.
She crosses her paws
and waits.

She hears them
and feels their footsteps
as they climb up the back of the kitty condo. . .

In a puff of black fur
Queen Fuzzy Face
once again defends her palace
not yet to be defeated!

She no longer sits in her
palace-penthouse on the top floor
of the kitty condo
or looks down upon the others
sneaking around waiting to attack. . .

Queen Fuzzy Face
has crossed the Rainbow Bridge
where she will go to her new palace
where she can sit and watch over us
while wearing her angel wings.
