Little Mickie DDog
by Lou Ann Smith
LITTLE MICKIE DOG Always waiting patiently at the front door tail wagging endlessly across the foyer floor. Looking forward to greet me with a little doggie kiss this was her way to say "oh my, you wer missed". Adorable puppy dog eyes filed with expression so sweet impatiently awaiting a tasty dog treat. A walk for exercise, a ritual filled with fun the first out the door, she just had to run. It didn't matter to her come rain or sunshine I didn't mind either because she was mine. Cuddled beside me on a cold winter's day petting her softly, she loved it this way. Together down the hallway, lights out then to bed she'd fluff up the pillows to lay her sweet head. To love unconditionally, our faithful devoted friend she made our family complete to her very brave end. You crossed over the rainbow after seventeen great years we'll think of you often and know you are near. Your spirit set free, but never do we part for as you know Little Mickie, forever in our heart. Gone and loved forever LITTLE MICKIE DOG February 1, 1987 to February 2, 2004
