Emma
by David Sifford
Dear Emma It's taken me a long time to do this, since Sam left us just a little over a year before. You were the "First Child". You knew that Sam and I were so close...and you stood bye and let us do our thing, but you got plenty of love too you little stinker. It's just that when it was down to just me and you it got really special taking care of you in your old age. Holding you in the shower..you loved the shower massage. It was so sad that you couldn't jump up on the bed anymore but I didn't mind carrying you up there. I miss you so much. I called your Mommy the night you died adn the whole family grieved for you..even the Austin bunch. Graham even put flowers on your little grave by Sam. Please find Sam and take care of each other like ya'll did all your lives. The 2 of you were so special it was not funny. I miss you so much. You were a great dog. There will never be another you or Sam for that matter. No more Beagles and Spitz's for me. Every time I see one I think of ya'll and I cry. You were almost 15 years old and you took good care of your Daddy. I love you Emma Your Daddy...David
