It was snowing.Christmas lights shown brightly through the darkness.Shianne was walking home from a Christmas party at Kelly Middle School."Huh?"She stopped in her tracks and listened carefully.As clear as glass a little puppy was crying for its mother.Shianne looked over at the park and saw a little pitbull looking puppy staring at her.The puppy yelped with excitment and ran over to the girl.
"A puppy!You poor thing!Let's get you home and get you nice and warm."Shianne picked the puppy up and continued her way to her Aunt's house.

Up at Rainbow Bridge,Jake layed under the old oak tree,the Christmas lights glowing upon his face.He sighed and closed his eyes,only to be awoken from the sudden shouts of his name from Angel."JAKE!!!"She barked.Jake sat up and shook his floppy ears."Huh?What is it,dear?"Jake asked,yawning."It's Cypress.H-he's crying.I don't know why."Angel replied,with a worried expression on her face.She took off towards Cypress with Jake slowly following behind.
Once they reached the pitbull mix,both Angel and Jake barked out his name.
Cypress turned around sniffling with tears rolling down his furry cheeks."Cypress son,what's the matter?"Jake asked,taking a seat next to Cypress."*sniff*Look.Shianne found a poor pup out in the cold."Cypress cried once more and hid his face in his paws.The snow rested on the trio's head as they watched the young girl carry the pup home.
"It does look like you!"Angel and Jake both barked."Alright.Why the sad face,Cypress?"A voice came from behind them.They turned around and saw SnowBall and Floppy staring at them."Where's Patch?"Angel asked.SnowBall turned her head towards Patch,who was dashing through the snow playing with FiFi and the others.
Floppy looked to see the cause of Cypress's sudden sadness."Aw.Don't feel upset,buddy.Shianne just rescued a puppy.Now she can give it a good home and a good name."Floppy cuddled up to Cypress.

Shianne walked inside and saw her Aunt Josie baking some Christmas cookies."Hey Auntie,I found a puppy!"Shianne said,setting the pup on the couch by the warm air vent.
Josie walked in the living room to see a puppy staring at her with beautiful,brown eyes.Just like Cypress's eyes."It looks exactly like Cypress."Josie said,examining the puppy for fleas."Can we keep em'?Can we?Please."Shianne begged.
"You can keep him.As long as you can take care of him."Josie replied,petting the puppy on the head.Shianne jumped in the air with excitment."I'll call him Cypress Jr."Shianne said,hugging the puppy close to her.Josie smiled and walked back into the kitchen to finish the cookies.

Cypress watched over the puppy as he sat over by the frozen river.Angel sat by his side as Jake went to go finish wrapping everyone's gifts."Cypress,I know your upset,but please don't cry."Angel said comfortingly."I'm not upset,"Cypress said,"I'm crying with joy.Shianne did a great thing to save the puppy.He could've died out in that weather,but Shianne came in time to save his life.I'm proud of her and I'm pround of Josie for letting the pup stay with them.Very easily they could've just sent the pup to a shelter,but no.They gave this puppy a chance at life."Cypress smiled a big smile.Angel smiled too.The two walked over to the others and took a seat under a string of Christmas lights.A suprise was coming that they were not aware of.

Shianne played with little Cypress Jr.Untill the pup decided he was hungry.Chico ran after Cypress Jr and the two had so much fun together.They ran around the Christmas tree and into the kitchen where the two shared a bowl of puppy chow."How cute!"Josie said grabbing her camera and taking a picture.Shianne walked into the kitchen smiling."This is the best Christmas ever."She sighed petting both puppies.

Cypress and Angel looked up,blushing.Everyone gathered around as the two noticed they were sitting under the mistletoe.Angel looked at Cypress."You know what this means..."She fluttered her eyelashes as the two dogs leaned in for a kiss.Seconds later they pulled away and blushed even more."Your a great kisser."Angel teased.Cypress laughed as the other furbabies cheered with excitment.
It was a great Christmas indeed.The boys and girls all got what they wished for and our furbabies enjoyed their Christmas with each other.
But two furbabies stayed by each other all day long."*sigh*I love this Christmas.So great and romantic."Angel sighed and leaned her head on Cypress's shoulder."I hope next year's Christmas will be as grand."Cypress said.The two shared a little kiss as the Christmas lights shown brightly on them.
