The second Monday of December 2005,was something that totures my heart to this very day.My rabbit,Snowball,passed on at 10:30 am.The words she said to me the day before echoed through my mind."Shianne,don't leave me."The words haunt me to this very day.It was telepathy that gave me the chance to talk with her.The conversation through our minds something like this."Shianne,don't leave me."She said.I promised I wouldn't.The morning of school I went to see Snowball just to have a regular chat."I don't wanna die!"Snowball cried in her mind."I know."I said."Life's not a fair thing."I told her I'd see her after school.When I got out of school my mom told me she died.The promise!It was broken.My mom had already buried her.My dog left her rawhide on Snowball's grave."Are you alright?"My mom came to my room and asked."Y-yes."I answered.She hugged me and told me some things.I told her I wanted to be alone,and then cried and sang about Snowball.Without her,I was nothing but a girl in complete sorrow,forever.I slept in bed thinking of her.Visions replayed her death over and over.Tears formed in my eyes."I-I broke the promise,Snowball.I'm sorry."I cried.I remembered the lyrics to one of my favorite Dixie Chicks song that brought memories of Snowball.

The lyrics echoed in my head.Saddness filled my heart,tears drenched my face,memories slipped by like clouds...
