My Prince I found you in a rescue centre in Leigh, UK on 22.11.99.
7 months old a lovely German Sheperd full of bounce, I had to beg my mummy and daddy to let me bring you home to Warrington. Finally you were mine you came home sprawled over me on back seat of a very small car!!! You went straight to my dad and melted his heart.
For the next 6yrs you were my friend you were there when my heart was broken, just the doggy smile on your face was enough and the wag of your tail and keeness to walk and walk helped me get my confidence back. Then after a vist to the vets with a wheeze we had to xray and take you to to a specialist. The C word was mentioned in your lungs my heart broke, what to do, whats best, he's only 6, my puppy, everything was mentioned. We decided that to give you a bit of time and good qualty of life we would give chemo a shot. Within a day I had my puppy back you were full of more bounce, that tail never wagged so much.
Then after 4 months of visting Natalie at the vets we noticed you were getting weak, you didnt want to wag your tail. I could not sleep sat up with you wondering what to do. It was decided we had to let you go we could not let our baby suffer. Matalie came out to the house and you went to sleep with me holding you so night.
'Night night sweet Prince' were the last words you heard.
Gone but not forgotten.
We love you and always will
Till Rainbow Bridge when finally me and my Prince will meet again.
