I used to be sceptical about an afterlife for our animal friends. Hopefully I'm wrong. Almost immediately after crossing over to Rainbow Bridge, Budweiser, our beloved iguana, began to send us signs that she's waiting for us and that she's okay. First, she led me to this site and the wonderful link which has quotes from various bibles supporting the idea that our animal friends are very happy now, and that they want us to go on. At first, this was some comfort, but it was not enough. So, in between that first sign (around November 28, 2005) to the present date (February 8, 2006)
she has shed two pieces of her skin--one from (I guess) her tail or back--and the other from her neck--onto the wooden floor in the living room. Doesn't seem possible after all the times my sister, cleaning lady and I have cleaned the floor! I pray to God that these really were true signs--pieces of my baby--and to some extent--pieces of me. I invite your stories, dear readers, if you had some experience like that. Truly, our animal friends deserve a better life after here. I look forward to reading your story. Love, and God bless,
