We named the new puppy Sofie. When we brought her home all Max did was lick her. It was the cutest thing. They became the best of friends. They did everything together. Sofie couldnt keep up with him at first but I think she caught up to him when she turned about 5-6 months. They played rough and just had a blast together.

Things changed for us on July 26th 2005. Max left us because of natural causes. It was the worst day of our lives. My yellow lab is not doing well at all. She wont eat unless I feed her out of my hand and she just sits and mopes. Time will pass and we will get over this eventually. But I dont think we will EVER forget our wonderful friend.

Rest in Peace, beloved Max, you are in Rainbow Bridge now.
