I got Jasmine from a friend of mine who purcahsed her from an ad in the Iwanta. She called me up with in two hours of having her and said she did not want the dog and asked if I wanted the dog of course I always wanted a mastiff breed. She brought her to me and said that she was mine so I paid her what she had paid for her. I had her for a few days before we went to petsmart and that is where I ran into the lady who original had her. She was up set and told me that the girl was suspost to give her back to her if she did not wanted her. I told her she had a good home. She told me a little about her backgroud that she was abused at one time. It was two months and she kept charging my husband so I had to call the lady back up and give her back. After a month of being gone there was an ad gor her again for free this time. I had to go get her back and i signed a contract to have her spayed which was the deal which was a good thing. When I got her back home she was a total diffrent dog. She would always sleep on my side of the bed and when you got up in the middle of the night you had to step over her. She was always there when I needed her and she protected the family from evrybody. My daughter was six months when we got her and jasmine was nine months. I got jasmine in October 1999 and she stayed with us for five years and one day I let her out to go to the bathroom . She was not outside for thirty minutes when I went to check on her and to feed her. I found her laying on the ground having trouble breathing. I ran and got my husband and he picked her up and got her into the kitchen and it wasn't 15 miniutes later he was doing CPR on her. We were told she gastro means she bloated her stomach twisted on the inside. I cried on her for a long time with my husband. He finally said we have to barrier her but I could not do it. He asked if he could take her to his and s favorite spot where he hunts and lay her to rest there where we could go visit her anytime we wanted to. My daughter was four when she past and even though she has been gone now for almost two years we still miss her and my daughter goes every month and puts flowers on her grave site and when my husband hunts there he thinks about her, but nobody will miss her like I will she was my heart, my soul and my baby. I still miss her laying besid eon her favorite spot on the floor. I miss stepping over her she will never be forgotten i will treasure her memories and our time together forever. I miss you Jasmine very much. I will see you again someday and when I do I will be there forever and always miss you lots mommy, daddy, Taylor, Jeffrey, and galdog your play mate the (begale) who still misses you and that you took her under your wing when we got her at eight weeks the same year we got you We all miss you deeply you have a photo alblum all to yourself.
