'Ode to Arwyn'

For anyone who's ever loved an animal.....

I know what they're thinking
Tsk Tsk. It was only a cat and far worse things happen at sea.
Ho hum. Well yes.
But she was my cat
funny, floppy little cat
They didn't ever see her-
bottom in the air, madly, galloping, bunnyhops,
running into doors and falling off chairs
making me laugh so hard the tears came (sorry about that)
or the way she'd gently rub my nose with hers to make sure who I was
and sometimes remind me it was breakfast
or the way I would hold her like a baby
snuggled up at night and do booboo's on her tummy.
Which she loved by the way.
Miss you funny little cat.
