Dee Dee my goat
by Lynette Pullin
I lost my pigmy goat Dee Dee. She was only 5 years old. Became sick on Wed and had to have her put to sleep on Sat. I had the vet come out and check her she was in so much pain. The vet was going to try to help her but she was so worried by putting the tube down her throat she would have died anyway. So I just said to put her to sleep. She carried her off so my male goat wouldn't see what was going on. He came charging her. We had to put him away so he wouldn't see a thing. Gave her the shot and she went to sleep so peacefully. I knew then that she had no more pain. I felt bad because I was going to miss her so. But I knew in deep in my heart she would not be suffering anymore. I gave her a kiss told her to find the rainbow bridge. I know one day I will see her again. She was a very sweet little girl. She would always be right there when I would go out to feed them. she would call for me when she heard me over across the road when I was outside. The other two goats I have never did that. So I will really miss that. My husband and sons dug the hole and the vet placed her in there for us. This vet I had never seen before but she had the most kindest heart. She really made it more easy on all of us. Dee Dee we will miss you so much but now I know you are not suffering anymore. Love your mommy Lynette
