Kd Lou, Never Forgotten, Always Loved
by Melissa Perry
KD Lou, a small pekingese with sandy blond fur. KD wasn't a dog, not to us anyway, she was always considered as a neice to me and my brother, a daughter to my sister, and a grandaughter to my parents. On April 6th 2001, our sweet KD Lou was taken from us. KD Lou's life had been cut too short for a dumb reason, maybe even no reason at all. The happiness she brought to us, no one will EVER understand but us. We always still talk about our little LouLou, not a day goes by that we don't think of her. Pictures of her fill the house which was once full of love and laughter but life must go on. If only we could have been able to tell her good bye and that we loved her once more(not that she didn't know). KD Lou wasn't like other dogs, if you would yell at her for getting into trouble she would get mad at you and ignore you for the rest of the day (or at least until you apologized) KD Lou hated it when people fought, she loved it when you laughed. You could always tell what she was thinking by the expression on her face. Still to this day we cry about KD Lou no longer being here with us in person, but she will ALWAYS be in our hearts. I am no longer afraid of death because now I know that KD Lou will be the one to come and take me up to heaven.
