A Tribute To Baby
by Pat Wilson.........................................
Through my tears,
I see you running with no fears.
Tail wagging, free-spirited and happy,
With those squirrels you were always zappy.

Waiting for the kids and their bus,
You never gave up in disgust.
Everyday you and they just played,
The love you both had was very much displayed.

With your home life lacking,
We never sent you packing.
Instead, we tried to love you,
For you were very true.

If I could change the hands of time,
I definitely would make you mine.
No speeding truck would do you harm,
For you would be in my arms safe and warm.

As I sit by my window,
I see Baby's shadow.
My heart aches so much,
for I loved her a whole bunch.
