Tom-Tom
by Brittany Nance
On Father's Day my cat Tom-Tom died. It was right after we got home from church that i saw something lying in the yard. I went to see what it was and i found out it was my cat tom-tom. The first thing i did was burst into tears. I couldn't belive he was gone. I loved Tom-Tom so much. It came to be that the nieghbors dogs had gotten hold of him and swung him around in the air and slung him to the ground somewhere. But the thing about it was that someone saw something drag itself into the yard and layed down, but never got back up. I couldn't belive he actually came back home to let us know he had died and not had ranaway. It showed that he loved us. For the next 5 days all i would do is cry. At night i'd even pray to God that i could just see Tom-Tom just one morew time, but inever did. i relize now that he is in a better place and hopefully he will be waiting ffor me when i get to Heaven with him and be reunited again someday.
