Elliot "LiL Buddy" was a white fuzzy fella with a pink belly like a pig
This Westy was quite feisty, although not very big
His stumpy little legs never slowed down
He was busy chasing that darn squeaky ball around
He barked and barked at anything that moved
Even actor doggies he saw playing on the tube
He loved his little sister "Roxy" but she payed him no attention
and he had close friends everywhere - too many to mention
We'll never forget his crazy antics and vocal personality
His Mom tried and tried and tried but finally faced reality
You see "LiL Buddy" was sick although it didn't show
Doggy angels visited him and he knew it was time to go.
Now he's chasing that squeaky ball way up in the sky
I am so very thankful that I got to say goodbye
Pictures and memories are what I have left
Of a white Westy dog who simply was the best
I'm sure I'll see him one day some time down the road
For now I'll just remember the fun and why I wrote this Ode
