My Best Friend
by Susan Mills
My Best Friend Noone has been there for me like my golden lab that's why this is so hard and sad To think that when I go home for Easter weekend the house will feel so empty without my best friend so many fun times that we have shared I hope she knew just how much I really cared The memories of long walks, cross country skiing, and quality time She may have been old, but I thought she was in her prime. I feel I have let you down when you needed me most I didn't know what was happening, I'm on the other coast I will miss you so much, my heart is breaking Sometimes I think you will come back...but i am mistaking I love you Ginger, I wish you didn't have to go
