Sheamus came into our family's 12 years ago. He was my protecter asa a baby and he is still my guardian angel. When my mom got him he was about 5 weeks old and very attached to my mom. When I was born she was afraid that he wouldn't like me. He did like me. He used to lick the back of my head and stay right near my side. He wouldn't let anyone come near me either. I was his baby. As the years went on I grew older and so did he. He was still my protecter and still attached to my mom. As he got older he became sick. He would have seizures and get very very agressive. He never liked the vet's office, but this time was different. He wanted to go. The vet thought that it was a brain tumor. We still don't know. My mom took him to the vet's and had him put to sleep. She cried more over Sheamus then did over a human. It was hard. I cried as well. A year later, we got Oreo. Today, he is a 3 years old and Sheamus has been dead for 3 years. As I sit here, I know that Sheamus is watching over me. We still have his ashes in my mom's bedroom. We all miss him and think about him still today.
