I found you just 8 short years ago. For all of your 3 years you had lived in a cage.....with no name..... Over the years you learned how to walk up and down 3 steps. Though you never learned to bark, you made your needs well known with your hollering! I guess you remember that on the way home from adopting you our first stop was at the vets to get treatment for your ear infection. You must have had it most of your life with no treatment, for from then on throughout your life there was never much respite from ear infections. You were courageous through all your many health challenges.....seizures, collapsible trachea, heart problems, Cushings disease, neurological difficulties, and the thyroid problems that caused you to lose your beautiful, thick hair. I don't know how your 3-pound body dealt with all of it. But you always had a passion for life....and food......and me. I have never been so adored. You were patient with me and loved me inspite of my faults and shortcomings.... You were such a sweet and gentle soul with a heart as big as the sun. I will always love you. Thanks for staying with me awhile. I hope you're happy and well at last.....
