Sandy
by Tonya Martinez
Sandy It seems like yesterday you were just a pup Running in the grass, chasing butterflies, playing in the mud Playing with your chew toys not wanting to give up Getting into things you were not suppose to and other stuff You were our Sandy so innocent and sweet A bundle of joy everyday of the week You scared us half to death when you headed for the street But everything else you did was pretty neat You always showed us unconditional love You were there for us we could give you a hug We could tell what you were thinking and you could us The love, the joy, things you did were lots of fun You are gone now but we know where you are How you"ll still be here and remain in our hearts And that will always be a special part We will see you again, that i know in my heart You have your wings now ( I bet there big) They're trying to match your heart when you went to heaven Play all you want, dont get into anything Just remember you will always be our Sandy
