My Sweet Louise
If I could have one more day to spend with you my friend.
First we'd play your favorite game, which is get Louise.
Then we'd slip out the back and leave Miss Dix behind.
We'd go to the river for one last trip, stay until sunset.
Then we'd jump back in the truck and head to Fremont High.
There you'd run the yard one last time.
From there we'd head back home and slip back in so Miss Dix would never know.
What a wonderful day we would have had my friend,
My Sweet Louise.
If I could have one more night with you my friend.
I'd tuck you in and cover you up right by my bedside.
I'd say good night one last time my friend,
My Sweet Louise.
You've been a wonderful friend for the past twelve years.
I am surely missing you walking by my side.
Not a day goes by I do not think of you my friend.
You will forever be in my heart and memories.
Good-bye old friend till we meet again,
My Sweet Louise.
If I could have one wish it would be for a single day, where we'd run and play, just like yesterday.
My Dear Sweet Louise.
