LabrAdorable
by Karen Lewis
When you were only two weeks old, Daddy and I picked you out there were some blacks and some yellows, you were the one who licked DADDYS face and that's how we chose such a beautiful BLACK gem. When you were (finally) ten weeks old the breeder let us take you to your forever home. You grew from a 10 pound puppy to a 85 lb LabrADORABLE Doggie. When you got a little old, we got you a knee replacement so you could walk, I couldnt bear to get the second one because it caused you such pain. You did so well, and acted like it didn't hurt a bit. I loved you soooo much, you were my BABY, you see, I had no human ones. Then when you were nine, we had a baby girl that you LOVED. You made her one of the "pack". Sleeping on the floor beside her bouncer seat. Licking her face when she was just a few days old and we brought her home from the hospital. You were my first baby and Rachel's big sister. You were almost human to us. Your last days on this earth were tough, and I know we did all we could for you. On the day that I had to take you in to cross the Rainbow Bridge, I gave you a dozen roses for the twelve beautiful years you gave me. BOY did you sniff like you never had since you were a pup. Then Ma Maw and I took you to Dr. Sarah and sat with you while you crossed over that beautiful bridge. We will miss you and love you forever. Never take your LAB for granted while you have them on this earth. They are a precious gift from God. Always in our hearts.....Chelsea Girl Love, Mommy, Daddy and LiL Sis Rachel
