I have been a puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs for many years. Last night I got a call that my very first guide dog puppy, a gorgeous black lab had passed away due to liver failure. Fala was a wonderful dog, so much personality and a joy to be around. I cried as much last night as the day I turned her in for training. She lived a happy and fulfilled life with a definite purpose. My heart breaks for the woman she guided for 10 years. We love and miss you Fala.
