My Friend Whitey
by Eugene Ladusau
Here I am again not even two years after putting my other dog to sleep because of the same ailment, Lymphnode cancer. Little Whitey, sort of like a Cocker Spaniel, would do circles on the kitchen floor when my wife and I would come home. He had a wonderful smile and would lick only my nose. He would howl with the other dog whenever we left the house. His real name was Krusty, but I would call him Whitey because he had white fur. Some other nicknames for him were Dont Trust Whitey, Whitey Bolger, Circle K, Krustaphe, Bubba, and Whitey Ford. Thank you for being my friend for eight wonderful years. You arent suffering anymore little one. Dear God in heaven may I see my Whitey again in your heavenly home. I love you Whitey. Thank you.
