I'll never forget the day we met,There you were all soaking wet.Of all the dogs I checked out,I knew you were the one there was no doubt. Shivering from the cold,So cute I just couldn't wait to hold.
You were so scared and I picked you up, my heart filled with joy your gonna be my pup.I loved the way you'd shake your paws, the way you'd dance through the halls. Running from the water hose,the way you'd roll in the dirt with your nose. Playing tag was so much fun, The way you'd chase the kids when they'd run. Telling us good night and tucking us in, I knew you'd always be my friend. You always knew when I didn't feel good, always beside me like a friend should. Licking my tears away when I cried,Everyone knew you were my pride Showing you off you were so smart, I love you so much with all my heart. Then came that dark dreay day,someone came and took my harry away. My heart felt like it would explode,when daddy found you by the road. The children loved you so,they no longer have you to hold.
I miss your licks and kisses upon my face, Your loving hugs as we would embrace.Scratching your back while relaxed, the way you'd take off with bubbys hacky sack. Harry you meant so much to me,I'll love you through eternity. Written Bye
