As a little girl I had this wonderful dog named Bambi, she was the apple of my eye. She taught me a lot. She was so gentle and loving. When I was sad she would lick the tears from my face. She would sleep with me at night and keep me safe. I used to dress her up in doll cloths and take her for walks in a doll carrage. She was the best friend a child could have. I remember one morning I woke up to find the most special surprise, under the covers at my side was a litter of puppies she had just given birth to that was her gift to me. She was such a good mommy to her little babys.I learned the meaning of giving. I had to find good homes for her babys that was a very difficult thing for a little girl to do. So off I went with puppies and mommy in a baby carriage I found homes for everyone of her eight puppies. When she was 10yrs old I had to say goodby to her. She was very Ill and I had to part with her I had learned that day how to not be selfish and give her up so she would not have any more pain.I still to this day miss her very much some day will meet again and someday Ill find her at the end of rainbow bridge,
