Hugs and kisses to my baby boy
by Susan Jetter-Smilow
Hey Bigalow Boy! I ran out of room to write to you on your Rainbow Bridge memorial site so I decided to write to you on the stories page. Are you being a good boy for Grammy and Grampy? Your "sister" Patches is sitting with me while I write to you. She insists on stretching out across the desk while I'm trying to type, needless to say I've had to correct quite a few mispelled words because of it! I love and miss you more than all the stars in the sky my precious baby boy. There are days that I still can't believe that you're gone, I know that I wont be completely happy again until we're reunited at Rainbow Bridge. I've become friends with FiFi and Bo's mommies and we're all glad that our fur babies are playing together happily free of pain. Smokie you're every where in our house, not just in spirit. Mommy has put pictures of you in every room including both bathrooms! I've received so many nice e-mails from so many wonderful people who have read about you. You're quite the popular little man! Not only did so many people love you here on earth, but now so many people from Rainbow Bridge love you too! Mommy's "Catnip Cafe" has been very popular with the "outdoorsers" especially Cooney. You remember him don't you? He comes by every day and takes naps on the bench then he has a snack and sometimes he goes back to sleep or goes for a walk around the neighborhood. Tomorrow Mommy is going shopping to look for a dress to wear when "Step Daddy Smilow" and I get married on May 22nd. I wish you would be here to celebrate the happy occassion with us, but I know you'll be watching from your little catnip cloud. Mommy is going to say good nite now as your "big sister" Princeton is howling for attention. We love and miss you so very much Smokie Joe. Mommy is sending up lots of kisses and hugs to our little biggy boy.
