On 11/29/03 Gator passed away he was a 14 year old Golden Retrever that everybody loved so much everyone new him because we live in a small village.He passed away because of old age and he was sick my mom was going to take him to the vet on 11/28/03 but i said no i didn't want to go there and not come home with him.so that night i was home alone and i went to go see how he was doing and he threw up so i called my mom and she said ok she will be right over.So she cleaned it up and gave him a bath to make him feel a little refreshed so my mom put a blanket on him so he can get warm and comfortable.So my family went into the living room and i went to my room and started to cry because i new he was going to go that night i was scared, So my mom told my brothers girlfirend to go see how he was and she came back crying and my mom said how is he and my brothers girlfriend said patti i think he is gone so my mom ran in to go see him and he was so i came downstairs to see him and my mom was crying and i said what is wrong and she said gator just died haley and i ran to see him and he was just laying there with his mouth open i started to pet him it was hard to see him lying there with a blnket over him it was so sad.That night my mom and dad wrapped him up in that blanket and but him in his bed till the moring so they can beary him my mom told me that my other dog t-bone put his paw on gator to try to get him and my mom said no no t-bone gator is in puppy heaven now and t-bone just looked at her.That moring my dad and my brother carried gator up to my brothers truck and took him down the park to beary him they beared him next to a big rock and a tree in a open field so he can have peace and quiet while he is resting.so that day my mom was hanging up christmas decorations and she seen my cat walking back and forth she called his name and he kept on walking and she walked in to the house and she said that the cat was out by the door then when she started to hang ,ore decorations up my cat started to do the same thing so my mom always wounders why he was doin that but we both think our cat got the smell of gator and wanted to say goodbye. we love you and miss you so much gator we will never forget you.
